A Special Day

Today mom turns ... another year older and wiser too. What a beautiful baby she was.

I love hearing all of mom's stories about the things she did when she was growing up.
Here she is with Rasheil, starting the habit of teaching her children the gospel from the time they were little.
As I was looking at different pictures of mom/grandma through the years, I'm reminded again about how beautiful mom is inside and out. She's been such a help to each and everyone of us. Throughout my life I've always known that mom loved me no matter what. She has always been a strong shoulder to cry, a wealth of good advice, and supportive in all that we do. Her faith and testimony of the gospel is amazing. It's always good to hear her bear her testimony. I could go on and on, like I'm sure you all can. She is the best mom ever!! She's a great example to me on how to be a better mom and person. Love you Mom! Thanks for all you do for us!!! Happy Birthday!

What can I say about my "twin" sister? I am constantly amazed by how deep her toughts and emotions run. She is always pointing things out that make me stop and think about hymns or the gospel. Even though she would have us believe that she is a rock or an island (hehe), she is one of the most caring and deeply devoted people I know. She is so smart and witty, it is hard to keep up with her one liners and zingers. She is a loving and devoted mom to her two beautiful children. I love you! We all love you!
P.S. She is amazing at keeping the family blog up! As you can see, my posts aren't quite as clean as hers are. She's very talented!

ShaNae is so loving and caring. She's one of those people that loves to help and serve others. And those around her really appreciate all that she does. She's so good at listening to people and reassuring them. Her quiet strength is one of the things I so admire her for. She's the ultimate Aunt, all her nieces and nephews just adore her.
